Drawing Rooms & Smoking Rooms
Available for Members’ use at all times. Complimentary tea, Nespresso coffee and mineral water are available. In the Evenings and at Weekends the Rooms are for Social Use only. Occasionally up to three of the Rooms may be reserved for Club Events or Private Functions.

Available for business use or simply as a quiet room and may be reserved for exclusive use at a modest charge including, tea, Nespresso coffee and mineral water. Video Conferencing Hubs with Fully Equipped Plug and Play equipment
Business Room
Equipped with Computers with high speed internet connection, alongside three laptop stations and a printer. It also offers Plug and Play LCD Monitors for connecting your own Laptops to a second screen, and High Speed LAN.
‘Home Working’ Offices
Subject to availability, Bedrooms with Desks may be hired for Day Use for Members wishing to work or hold private appointments at the Club.
Private Dining & Events
From an intimate social supper with friends to a grand cocktail reception, followed by a fine dinner, the Oriental Club provides the perfect setting. Private Dining menus benefit from the same kitchen expertise, with options available to suit every occasion.
Smoking
Smoking and the use of Electronic Cigarettes is permitted in the Courtyard only and in no other part of the Club, including bedrooms.
Accommodation
The Club offers accommodation, from single rooms to suites. All rooms have en-suite facilities and are equipped with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, toiletries and complimentary mineral water. Early morning wake-up calls may be requested through the Reception. There is a laundry and dry cleaning service from Monday to Friday.
Dress Code
Elegantly Casual in the Dining Room & Members’ Bar, where a Tailored jacket is required except for Planters’ Orders*. Smart Casual for the Rest of the Club. *When a Collared Shirt will instead be required. Not permitted: Sportswear, Shorts, T-Shirts, Vest Tops, Large Logos and Branding, Scruffy or Dirty Trainers, Shorts, Flip Flops.
Children
Children aged ten and over may visit the Club. On certain occasions such as the Family Christmas Lunch, children from the age of four are permitted to attend.
The Club moved to Stratford House in 1962 and today continues its tradition of providing a welcoming, comfortable home-from-home for its Members in Central London.
The Oriental Club treasures its rich history and the extraordinary characters who have been associated with it, since the Duke of Wellington became the Club’s first and only President in 1824.
